If there’s one thing automakers know better other than making automobiles, it would be finding things to celebrate about and rolling out special edition rides. I am cool with that. Like, how else would you get the bragging rights to owning something “special” while also getting a bunch of non-standard equipment/extras for the same price?
Oh, wait. That, apparently, is not the case with the Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition which actually cost a tad more over the “vanilla” version. Note: a “tad” for very rich people. More on that in a bit. There’s no power increase which, sadly, is almost always the case. Instead you get “particularly extensive standard equipment in the areas of comfort and the chassis.”
Examples would be new 21-inch Panamera Sport Design wheels in satin-gloss White Gold Metallic, “Panamera10” logo on front doors (also in White Gold Metallic), more anniversary logo inside the cabin to remind you of what you had paid for, LED matrix headlights including PDLS Plus, a whole of bunch of safety features and more.
The Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition is available as Panamera 4, Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Speaking of hybrid, the hybrid models of the Panamera 10 Years Edition is outfitted with an onboard charger with a charging capacity of 7.2 kW as opposed to the standard 3.6 kW.
The Porsche Panamera 4 10 Years Edition is already available in Germany. We also found it listed on the U.S. website with a starting price of $103,300 which works out to be around $15K over the regular model.
Actually, you know what? The Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition does have a lot more features and equipment that I am pretty sure cost way more than the $15K or more premium. I will take back my words. This ride could be a steal if you are in the market for a new ride.
