A search on AliExpress and Alibaba reveals that there’s no lack of cheap true wireless earbuds. But how cheap can it get exactly? Well, today, we have our answer and it is a little over US$7 cheap, or 49.90 yuan to be precise.
That’s the price of the QCY T1C, currently being crowdfunded on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform, Youpin.
QCY is not noob in the area of Bluetooth earbuds. The company was established two years ago, in 2018, and it has since gain much popularity.
Previously, the company already rocked the market with US$14 device. Now, with the QCY T1C, just up that (or should we say down that?) a level, going at around 7 bucks. That’s for a TWS earbuds – in case we haven’t been clear. Absolutely bonkers.
Key features (yes, it has features!) include 6 mm polyester film diaphragm dynamic driver, automatic pairing, customization though app (presumably, it mean sound customization?), dual earphone communication (as opposed to usual mono in most cases), support both AAC and SBC, 380 mAh rechargeable battery good up to 20 hours of battery life, and earbuds with three-point stabilizing for secure in-ear fit.
Interestingly, QCY has chose to go with a cover-less charging case design. It is a strange choice, considering the risk of the earbuds popping off during transportation in a bag or something. Anywho, now you know how crazy cheap TWS can get.
