For Evangelion’s 30th anniversary, Radio EVA teams up with JAM HOME MADE to fuse its MONSTAR riders jacket with the unmistakable presence of Evangelion Unit-01. The result is an asymmetrical leather piece that deliberately rejects balance in favor of contrast, pairing sharp British-style tailoring on the left with a heavier classic rider’s structure on the right.
Unit-01 references are worked in with restraint. The liner and cuffs carry signature color cues, while the back features bold handwritten-style typography reading “Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon. Artificial Human Evangelion Unit-01” Additional sleeve graphics and custom snap buttons complete the theme. Details include chrome-tanned cowhide, vintage TALON and SCOVILL GRIPPER hardware, and even a discreet collar pocket sized for a disposable heat pack.
