Want an Apple AirPods Pro with active noise cancellation (ANC), but don’t have budget or do not wish to spend that much? Well, then you may want to take a look at Redux Audio ReduxBuds AI ANC True Wireless Earbuds.
Redux Audio said that the ReduxBuds’ noise cancellation is AI-powered. Meaning it will intelligently filter sound from the surroundings you can enjoy your favorite tunes while not being cut off from the environment.
In addition, it further boasts 7mm dynamic nano graphene drivers, dual beam-forming microphone, touch control on earbud, Bluetooth 5.0, custom-designed ergonomic fit, and a whopping 100-hour battery life, well, when use with the charging carrying case, of course. There’s no wireless charging though. Charging is via USB Type-C.
Like all good TWS earbuds, it totally supports hands-free calling and it will play well with digital assistants like Apple Siri and Google Assistant. Redux Audio claims the ReduxBuds is capable 30 db cancellation and doing so for 8 straight hours.
Save for the lack of wireless charging, what it has to offer appears to be better than AirPods Pro – on paper, that is. And yet, it cost a fraction of what Apple’s shiny TWS earbuds is selling.
ReduxBuds is selling for 51 percent discount from its final retail price, at 650 Hong Kong dollars (about US$84) on Kickstarter. The campaign is funded, so a pledge for a product is a pre-order which will materialize sometime in July 2020.
