Rollme AirCam AI Wearables
What if you want the AI and first-person camera of smart glasses, but not the glasses themselves? The Rollme AirCam delivers an 8 MP camera, open-ear audio, real-time translation, and an AI assistant in a lightweight wearable.

Ignoring the potential voyeuristic nature of camera-equipped smart eyewear, having a camera on a pair of glasses is actually a fun way of capturing life from a first-person perspective. But what if you just want the audio and smart features without wearing a pair of smart glasses? This is where the Rollme AirCam comes in.

Do not confuse it with the Vibelens MusicCam. I mean, well, it is kind of like the MusicCam, but smarter, thanks to artificial intelligence. The AirCam is an AI-powered wearable that pairs open-ear headphones with an 8 MP, 1080p camera, packed with intelligent AI features. It is kind of like smart glasses, minus the glasses.

Instead of having an awkward camera on your chest or head, the AirCam is designed to let cyclists, runners, hikers, travellers, and more record their adventures from a first-person perspective, hands-free. The onboard 8 MP HD camera offers 1080p video recording with advanced electronic image stabilization, and the device further touts intuitive touch controls for quick operation.

The other star feature is, of course, AI. The device boasts built-in large language models that allow it to serve as a mobile smart assistant. Working in sync with the camera, you can use it to recognize text, objects, images, landmarks, and more, while receiving contextual information as audio directly in your ears.

In addition, it also features AI-powered real-time translation, multilingual conversation support, et cetera. You know, the kind of stuff that breaks down the barriers of language and communication.

As for audio, it leverages open-ear bone conduction technology to deliver sound through its 16 mm Hi-Fi drivers, keeping your sound holes unobstructed so you’d be aware of your surroundings. The drivers promise detailed sound reproduction with rich bass and enhanced clarity. Meanwhile, dual microphones with ENC noise cancellation help suppress environmental noise and improve voice quality during calls.

The device is kept juiced by a 220 mAh battery, good for up to 120 hours of standby, 10 hours of continuous music playback, or 10 hours of talk time between charges.

Design-wise, Rollme says the AirCam is engineered for long-term comfort, reducing fatigue during extended wear.

The Rollme AirCam AI Wearable has just launched on the Rollme website for US$79.99.
