There’s going to be a new Samsung Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner in town. The new Jet has a few tricks up its sleeve. For starter it is significantly lighter, coming in a 1.66 kg (3.66 lbs) for the Jet and 1.48 kg (3.26 lbs) for Jet Light.

The Jet offers up to 200 W suction power while the Jet Light, up to 150 W. Also, the new Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner is now wall-mountable (finally!).

Other highlights include Digital Inverter Motor and Jet Cyclone system for optimized airflow and minimize loss of suction power, a 5-layered HEPA Filtration System, washable dustbin (dust canister), one-click detachable brush drum, and a removable battery that’s good for up to an hour of use.

Complementing the new cordless stick vacuums is an innovative new project called Clean Station. Clean Station is basically a high-tech trash can design to get the dust and debris out of the Jet cordless stick vacuum without the dust flying all around.

All you have to doing is to place vacuum’s dustbin on top of the Clean Station and it will automatically empty out the contents. It features Air Pulse Technology that pulsates the air in the dustbin to shake off trapped dust.

An UL-verified Anti-Dust Emitting Structure prevents ultra fine dust from getting into the air as the Clean Station proceeds to do its thing. Plus, there’s also a 5-layered HEPA Filtration System to trap fine dust particles, further ensuring that the fine stuff you have contained won’t get back into the environment.

There’s a micro bag inside each Clean Station to collect dust and it will only need to be replace once every two to three months.

At last, somebody figured that clearing dust canister of vacuums is somewhat counter intuitive and that’s a good thing. But will it catches on? I mean, that’s another piece of machine in a house that does only one job.

The new Samsung Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaners and the Cleaning Station will be launched in Southeast Asia markets this month (March), followed by the U.S., Europe, China, and CIS region. It is not known exactly when. Also, there are no words on the pricing of these new cleaning products from Samsung.
