In achieving the awesome looks, Apple did make some sacrifices on the iMac in terms of usability. I mean, a bunch of ports on the back is not exactly user-friendly, does it? No. It will never be no matter how you look at it. Luckily for the new iMac Pro, its Thunderbolt 3 ports are USB-C which takes the guess work out of which side is the right side. Still, guessing where the ports are is a game which I equate to carnival scam. It’s often a hit and miss thing – until you crane your neck around to the back and have a visual. While we don’t expect Apple’s design team to break the tradition and bring those ports to the front, you are not without options.
