The Disaster Prevention Agency Official Disaster Prevention Kit as seen in the movie Shin Ultraman is available as a usable kit with about 20 items that will come in handy in the event of a disaster.
Not going to lie. I definitely did not see this movie merchandise coming. I mean, movie merchandise is mostly associated with toys, collectibles et cetera. Surely, we did not expect a functional and potentially useful kit in the event of emergencies.
This disaster prevention set “officially approved” by the fictional Disaster Prevention Agency features the backpack as seen in the movie which contains emergency items like a poncho, raincoat, long-term storable rice, long-term storable water (bottled), water bags, gloves, wet wipes, a luminous whistle, flashlight, and more. I believe there is a hand-powered emergency power pack that can use to power smartphones too.
Disaster Prevention Agency Official Disaster Prevention Kit was released when Shin Ultraman hit the theaters in Japan. It is Japan-only merchandise, unfortunately, for obvious reasons.
If you reside in Japan, you may purchase the kit from Nippo Television Shop online store for 16,999 yen (approximately US$125).
