If I tell you that you could score a pair of true wireless earbuds for under US$25, you’ll probably think it is from some unknown brands. Well, not quite with this super affordable pair with an attitude. It is from Utah-based audio brand, Skullcandy.
The Dime may be budget, but Skullcandy said it outperforms other earbuds at the same price point, promising “exceptional sound, simple controls, and stellar battery life,” along with a host of other features.
Highlights include up to 12 hours of total battery life (3.5 hours + 8.5 hours), Bluetooth 5.0, microphones in each earbud, ability to use any one of the buds if so desire, complete control from the earbuds, support native voice assistants (Google Assistant, Siri and whatnot), automatic on and pairing with last device used, noise-isolating fit, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, integrated lanyard, and micro USB charging case with Snap Lid.
In addition, Skullcandy is extending its Fearless Use Replacement Policy in which you can buy just the missing part if you lose or break a component, whether it is a bud or the case.
We have seen so many TWS earbuds and I have to say, the Dime’s charging case is one of the most unique. The lid of the case actually have openings that will be filled when it is closed with the earbuds in it, revealing the Skullcandy branding. That is actually pretty dope if you ask me.
The Skullcandy Dime True Wireless Earbuds is available now for the aforementioned US$24.99.
