Star Wars Triple Force Friday Announced

Now, lets not pretend that movies are be-all end-all for movie studios. With some movies and even video games, they opens an opportunity for studios to sell you boatloads of merchandises that will make you rethink of your house choice. This couldn’t be more true for Disney-owned Star Wars franchise. Call it an exploits or whatever, Lucasfilm and Disney announced, last week, this year’s Star Wars product launch day, dubbed Triple Force Friday.

Set to happen on October 4th, 2019, Triple Force Friday will see the debut of brand-new products inspired by 3 of the year’s biggest Star Wars releases. Here are details straight from the horse’s mouth:

• The highly anticipated, final installment of the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: Episode IX
• The first-ever Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian, set to debut exclusively on the upcoming streaming service, Disney+.
• The latest title from EA and Respawn — Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — a brand-new action-adventure game releasing holiday 2019

Triple Force Friday is not just about toys, though. It will have products that have many other segments covered. Expect to see toys and collectibles, along with housewares, books, apparel and whatnot, to go on sale starting at 12.01AM on October 4th, 2019. Like past Force Friday celebrations (more like Force Friday sales, really), “stores around the world will join the festivities with in-store events and midnight openings,” according to official words.
