Gadgets or gadget accessories with wood thrown into the mix never fail to get us. The Nomad Wireless Charging Base Station is one such gadget. It wouldn’t have drawn out attention as much if it weren’t for the classy combo of walnut and padded leather. Wireless charger is a dime a dozen, but to find this gorgeous and so much class in it is rare. It features a walnut base and a padded leather surface enough for two devices to be charged simultaneously.
If that’s not enough, there are also a USB-A with 7.5W of power and a USB-C that puts out 18W, discreetly located on the side, for charging via the wired route. In this way, you will get yourself a charging device that charges four gadgets at the same time with minimal cable clutter. The Nomad Wireless Charging Base is not just about looks, though.
Under the hood, it has not two but three high-power charging coils to ensure good coverage, so you don’t need to a meticulous placement to get the devices charging and it has a set of LED charging indicators which, interestingly, automatically dim at night – thanks to the in-built ambient light sensors. Don’t you just love attention to detail? I know I do.

Personally, my go-to would be the walnut. Think it will go well with wooden Apple TV holder and wooden Airslab laptop stand. Though I wouldn’t a concrete one if there’s one.
