Continuing the Bandai Toho 30 cm Series is a new figure, the Bandai Toho 30 cm Series 1975 Mechagodzilla Figure, to complement the previously released Toho 30 cm Series 1975 Godzilla Figure.
This ain’t no any old Mechagodzilla, though. This 30 cm PVC/ABS figure is the “Space Beam Version” that features the cross attack beam aka light up eyes and chest. There’s a switch that change from regular light up eyes into changing color eyes, replicating the 1975 flick. It is powered by four AAA cells which are not included.
And a must-have for any honest-to-god Godzilla fanatics. But only if you are in Japan. I guess it is time to muster up your contacts in Japan… again.
Reservation for the figure has started on September 7 (Japan time) and will end September 8 (also, Japan time). The asking price is 24,200 yen tax included (which works out to be around US$228).
