Forget about the Technics SL-1200 series turntable. No wait. In fact, forget the boring, black turntables altogether because if you are all about fashion and style, you want a turntable that looks like the Supreme x Technics SL-1200MK7 Turntable. Period.

Supreme and Technics have come together to give the audio equipment maker’s popular record player a white and red Supreme makeover and damn, it does look kind of dope! Obviously, the Supreme touch is strictly limited to cosmetics.

The usual black base of the turntable is now finished in white with an inset metal badge and on the turntable is a slipmat printed Supreme logo. The logo can also be found on the hingeless dust cover.

The slider and the reset button are also finished white, as is the headshell at the end of the matte silver tonearm and the counterweight. The anti-skate and the adjustment knob are also in white against a matte silver finish and chrome assembly.

Beyond the cosmetics, it is pretty much the Technics SL-1200 you have known which boasts features like a coreless direct drive motor, vibration damping platter, 78 RPM speed with wider pitch adjustment, reverse play function, and removable cables. The cartridge is not included, however.

The Supreme x Technics SL-1200MK7 Turntable was available starting August 17 as part of its Fall/Winter 2023 but we cannot find it being sold anywhere. Perhaps, it is sold out since it was offered in “limited numbers”? I don’t know.
