Fans of Pokémon with an appreciation of fine jewelry who have deep pockets may want to take a look at the new Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon Collection. That’s right, folks. American contemporary jewelers have partnered with the iconic Pokémon franchise and artist Daniel Arsham to unveil the Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon capsule collection.
Arsham’s Future Relics series reimagines everyday stuff as if it were dug up by archaeologists from the future. The inspiration? Arsham’s art show in Japan, ‘A Ripple in Time,’ where Pokémon sculptures and paintings take you on a trip through time, like a Pidgeot soaring through the ages. This collection, featuring six iconic Pokémon, is bringing bling to the beloved critters with pendants and necklaces. It’s not just a collab; it’s Tiffany flexing its artsy, pop culture muscles.
Daniel Arsham quips, ‘In this Tiffany gig, we gave a nod to the ‘Ripple in Time’ Tokyo gig in 2022, giving Pokémon a fresh spin. Pokémon and Tiffany: both ageless cultural icons.’
Now, at the core of this collection are six Pokémon gems: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone, and Mew. Each struts its stuff with a sterling silver pendant decked out in diamonds. Tiffany’s designers got inspired by these irresistible Pokémon and added some oxidized pizzazz to the silver. Oh, and Pikachu’s got the VIP treatment with 18K yellow gold, a nod to its iconic yellow hue, and a sprinkle of accent diamonds on its necklace.
These goodies come in small and large sizes, packaged in the ‘Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon’ blue box, or for the golden Pikachu, in a Tiffany blue Poké Ball.
