Here’s another quirky stuff coming from the Italian luxury fashion label Dolce & Gabbana. It is called Stereo Bag which I initially thought it was a bag that looks like a portable stereo, but as it turns out, it is a handbag that is also a functioning speaker. How that works really boggles my mind. This handbag is made from wood, hand-painted with details of a real stereo. Thanks to the 3D painting technique, the bag looks exceedingly like an actual stereo straight from the 80s until you see it up close or touch it. It features a AUX cable, a 3.5 mm jack with molded cable assembly, inside the bag that would allow you to connect it to your device like a smartphone to play music. Unfortunately, not everything in life is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Makeup is one of them. How? Because, lighting. Don’t get it? Think of its as a computer monitor color calibration. What you see (color) may not the actual tone because of color isn’t properly calibrated. Get the idea now? To counter this, a startup, Juno Co., developed a new kind of makeup mirror that it touts as the smartest makeup mirror ever. Juno Smart Makeup Mirror, as it is called, goes beyond serving as a ring light equipped mirror that provides light when putting on makeup; the light is, as the product name implies, smart – thanks to your smartphone. You know those cheaply made (and cheap) red-white-blue nylon carrying bags commonly used in Asia, particularly in Hong Kong and China? Those bags are really, really cheap. At least one airport that we know of has these bags stashed, ready for checking passengers who have overweight or oversized baggages to repack into. Seriously, I have personally used that before and I am not even kidding. They are totally delicate and absolutely cannot take any beating. While we may view it as cheap, this iconic carrier is actually the design inspiration behind France-headquartered European fashion house, Balenciaga’s Cabas shopper, as dreamed up by creative director, Georgia-born fashion designer Demna Gvasalia. I do not know what to make of this, really. Continue reading Balenciaga’s Interpretation Of Iconic Red-White-Blue Bag Cost A Cool $2,000
Ladies who exercise the right to bear arm would have as much of a headache as one who doesn’t. How so? Fashion. That’s the hurdle there. More often than not, ladies’ getup are tight and body hugging and that leaves little or no room for discreet carrying of firearm without alarming anyone. But there’s actually a place where it can be carried without much drawing undue attention while still providing quick withdrawal of the firearm whenever the situation calls upon, and that’s the bra. This is where Flashbang Holsters for Ladies is designed to be placed. It is a clamshell-style holster that secures to the front (below and middle) of the lady’s brassiere. I remember when I was younger, KFC used to serve fried chickens with real plates and proper cutlery (yes, I am that old). In the early years, the management decided to dispense with the formality and took on the disposable route, which kind of makes sense as one of its very first and arguably most recognizable slogan was “Finger Lickin’ Good.” The slogan was dropped, picked up, dropped, made a comeback and eventually dropped again. Notwithstanding, the slogan is what most people associate KFC with and as it turns out, KFC Hong Kong is not only still using the slogan, but it has taken the concept of “Finger Lickin’ Good” to a whole new level with edible nail polish that tastes like, well, KFC fried chicken, of course. And yes, it is a real thing. Continue reading KFC-flavored Nail Polish: Now, That’s Literally Finger Lickin’ Good!
You have seen (unofficial) LEGO gadget accessories such as iPad and Laptop cases, but what you may not know is, someone is using the famous studded plate for ladies’ handbags too. Yup. LEGO. Handbags. Which kind makes these products from Etsy seller, agabag, the unofficial LEGO handbags (and clutches). And toys they are certainly not. While the outside is covered in all its studded glory, the inside is covered in satin with a convenient business card size pocket inside. The bricks are attached on the exterior and each brick is connected to each other in a way that it will provide the stiffness required of a handbag, while still remaining flexible. According to agabag, “no brick will fall off” and “there is absolutely no chance the handbag will fall apart.” Continue reading Here Are Some Awesome Handbags Made From LEGO Bricks for Ladies
up till today, multi-tool seems like a reserved-for-men thing. it has become a norm where no words need to be spoken and little doubt that mostly men will reach out to the shelves for one. but what about pretty lass who wants to fix something too? i mean, you don’t expect ladies to be hanging a multi-tool on her on pretty sundress do you? a necklace would be too in your face too, but a hair clip sounds just about right and that’s precisely what the Leatherdos Mini Tools Clip has to offer: seven tools in one inconspicuous hair clip. this one goes to all alcohol-adoring ladies. the Flask Bracelet By Cynthia Rowley makes no attempt in hiding your undying affair with the spirit drinks and as the product name implies, it is a flask that’s designed to ornament your wrist while stashing 3 ounces (around 89 ml) of your favorite poison. 3 ounces is not a lot; it is equivalent to two shots, or just about a little over a quarter of a regular can, which is probably not enough to quench your thirst for alcoholic beverages (unless we are talking about 151-proof drink like the throat-scorching Bacardi 151), but it is better than none when the craving hits. what do an automobile maker like Ford Motor Company has to do with a major cosmetic maker, such as OPI? probably nothing, until now. in a surprise twist, OPI Products Inc., a subsidiary of COTY Inc., and Ford Motor Company has announced a special collaboration, a line of OPI limited edition nail lacquers to mark the pony car’s 50th anniversary. yup. you heard that right. nail lacquers aka nail polish in this side of the world. we are not sure what’s the rationale behind this collab, but judging from the lone marketing image offered (pictured above) featuring a beautiful gentle lady’s hand with nails painted in Mustang’s Race Red, we are guessing that it is a signal that Ford Mustang is alright for ladies too.
