Many of us are already familiar with Irregular Choice, the brand known for seamlessly blending nostalgic pop culture icons like Star Wars and Care Bears into their footwear and bags. Their collaborations never seem to end, and the next one is sure to excite Transformers fans. That’s right, folks, Irregular Choice is teaming up with Transformers to create something special.
In anticipation of Transformers‘ 40th anniversary in 2024, Hasbro has joined forces with Irregular Choice to launch an impressive collection of 27 unisex shoes, bags, and accessories. This collection will feature beloved Autobots and Decepticons, including iconic characters like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, and Soundwave.
Among the offerings, you can expect to find light-up bags and boots with removable jet wings. While the specific details are yet to be revealed, Hasbro and Irregular Choice have teased four pieces:
1. MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE ANKLE BOOTS: These TRANSFORMERS-themed ankle boots, inspired by the cunning Decepticon Starscream, come with a removable jet wing featuring the Decepticon logo. These lightweight boots offer a delightful ’80s color palette once transformed. Lace them up and prepare for battle!
2. OPTIMUS PRIME BAG: This bold bag prominently features Optimus Prime and boasts inspired colors and detailing. There’s no mistaking your allegiance when you carry this handbag. The hinged doctor’s style bag comes with poppers for closure, two internal pockets, and a contrasting lining.
3. MUSIC TO MY EARS BAG: This retro Soundwave-inspired TRANSFORMERS bag can be worn as a handbag or clutch and features a captivating glitter-filled gel pouch on the front, complete with cassette tape controls. The ’80s arcade game-inspired pattern includes Autobot and Decepticon logo pixel art. Undo the magnetic popper fastening to reveal the plush orange lining and a handy inside pocket.
4. AUTOBOT HIGH-HEELED BOOTS: These heroically high-heeled boots feature a hidden platform, making them a must-have for any Autobot fan. These streamlined and fierce motorbike boots are adorned in bright red and yellow, accented with matte grey detailing. The Autobot logo on the elasticated back ensures easy on-off and comfortable wear. Slip them on and let’s roll out!
