It is no secret Hublot loves football. The Swiss luxury watchmaker already has two smartwatches dedicated to the biggest football events of the year and recently, it was revealed that the Swiss luxury watchmaker is taking its love for football into the virtual world. It has revealed a football stadium, aptly called Hublot Loves Football Stadium Metaverse Stadium, in the metaverse.
The Hublot Loves Football Stadium Metaverse Stadium is a hybrid sport, art, and digital event space in the virtual world with a stadium structure inspired by the intricate design of the case body and digital face of Hublot’s recently launched Bang Bang e watch.
The metaverse stadium was designed by MEIS architects, the name behind many sports and entertainment venues including the Cryto.com stadium, Everton FC, and Roma Stadiums. However, with the Hublot Loves Football Stadium Metaverse Stadium, it marks the largest venue built in the Spatial metaverse.
Here are more details about this virtual sporting/entertainment venue:
“Hublot partnered with Spatial, Web3 platform dedicated to helping creators and brands build visually stunning 3D spaces, for the brand’s first foray into the metaverse. Led by experienced leaders from Apple, Nest, LucasArts and Disney, Spatial is the Web3 home for luxury brands in the metaverse with over 4 million minutes spent on the platform every week. Visitors will be able to explore a 360-degree virtual stadium, inspired by Hublot’s Big Bang e, accessible for free via mobile, desktop or Oculus headset.”
Everyone is invited to explore the 90,000-spectator Hublot Loves Football Stadium Metaverse Stadium, featuring a one-kilometer-long (0.62 miles) concourse and media wall, via mobile and online on Spatial.io (note: sign-in is required).
