Designed for style-conscious people who lead active lives – and who love football (read: soccer), the Hublot Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as the product name suggests, is a smart timepiece that commemorates the FIFA World Cup 2022 currently playing out in Qatar.
Based on the Gen2 connected watch in the Hublot’s collection and the highest performing and the most exciting Big Bang e to date, the Hublot Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 boasts a larger and improved HD screen that will let you in on every glorious moment of the game with a dedicated football app much like it was on the Big Bang e UEFA Euro 2020 from last year.
The new Hublot Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ and Wear OS by Google. It has a micro-blasted and polished black ceramic and black titanium 44 mm case which is paired with a 1.39” AMOLED display offering 454 x 454 resolution and 327 dpi. Befitting its status as a luxe (smart) timepiece, the display is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.
Other spec-sheet details include one gigabyte of RAM and 8 GB Flash (ePoP) storage, a 400 mAh battery good for a day’s use, GPS, BT 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC (for payment), 30 m (3 ATM) water resistance, built-in microphone and speaker, vibration motor, and a bunch of sensors, including heart rate monitor, accelerometer, gyroscope, LLOB (Low Latency off Body), and ALS (Ambient Light Sensor).
When it comes to aesthetics, the official version is rocking a burgundy dial and a black and burgundy lined rubber strap inspired by the flag colors of the State of Qatar. However, you can free to choose the dial and strap designs in the colors of each of the 32 participating countries if so desired.
The Hublot Big Bang e FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is available now for an asking price of US$5,800.
