Louis Vuitton LEGO Holiday Installations

Though LEGO has managed to mix it up with adidas, the Danish toymaker did quite held hands with high-end fashion. But last year, it kind of rubbed shoulders with the Parisian fashion label, Louis Vuitton, when it created a brick-built birthday cake for the brand’s 200th birthday.

Fast forward to this year, Louis Vuitton has partnered with master builders at LEGO Certified Professionals to create a series of LEGO Holiday Installations in the form of window displays.

The brick-built holiday window decoration is not limited to stores in Europe. The collaboration, which coincides with LEGO Group’s 90th anniversary, will span LV stores around the world.

In case you are wondering, no, the decorations are not limited to snow-capped Christmas trees. Expect to find recreations of Paris landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Pont Neuf bridge, the brand’s signature trunks, and more, in LEGO, garnished with a copious number of loose, multi-colored LEGO bricks.

No brick-built Eiffel Tower though which I thought was a missed opportunity to promote the tallest LEGO set unveiled recently. However, there are trunks stacked together to mimic the iconic iron tower of Paris.

Patrons will be able to view the creations both in and outside the store. The Louis Vuitton x LEGO Holiday Installations started appearing on October 29, and they will continue to be on display until January 01, 2023.
