If you don’t already know, Formula 1 is 75 years young this year. As a watchmaker that has been involved in Formula 1 sponsorship, even before the merger, way back in 71—TAG Heuer has a lot to celebrate, and celebrate it is doing with a super cool, super luxe timepiece, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport | F1 75th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Limited to just 75 individually numbered pieces, this latest addition to the TAG Heuer Carrera collection is a tribute to the 75 World Champions crowned since 1950. Each of the 75 pieces is uniquely personalized with a year engraved on the case back, spanning from the inaugural 1950 season to 2024.
This 44 mm beast sports a fine-brushed, sandblasted titanium case topped with a solid 18K yellow gold bezel, paired with a black DLC titanium crown and pushers. The openworked dial reveals the in-house Calibre TH20-09 Tourbillon with a 65-hour power reserve, while rhodium-plated indexes, gold-plated hands, silver subdials, and a black tachymeter scale remind you that this isn’t just for show—it’s built to perform.
The sapphire caseback carries a golden Victory Wreath decal, framing the engraved championship year of your specific piece. Even the strap leans into the sport, with black rubber and a DLC titanium buckle securing this rolling trophy to your wrist.
All of this racing heritage and horological muscle comes wrapped in a special presentation box marked with the F1 75 logo. But exclusivity comes at a price, and in this case, it’s US$46,000 for one of just 75 examples worldwide. It’s out of stock online, btw. You may try your luck in the store, though.
