In Thailand, Realistic-looking Giant Cockroach Plush Toy Is A Thing

Cockroach is not even remotely close to being adorable. In fact, it is one insect that is being frown upon by nearly all humans, but that does not stop one store in Thailand from selling plush toys of giant roaches that even has a rather endearing name, ‘Peter the Cockroach’, to boot. If the looks didn’t get you, perhaps the name will? Maybe? As you can see, Peter is very, very realistic. I’d say it is photo-realistic – short of being hyperrealistic – and it is anatomically correct too, complete with the requisite antenna (feelers?), spiky legs, wings and the works. Uniqlo has teamed up with iconic manga series Doraemon and Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami to incorporate the iconic characters from the series to the brand’s products. The One And Only LV x Supreme Pudsey Bear Is Now Going Under The Hammer

Don’t let the image above deceive you. The Louis Vuitton x Supreme Designer Pudsey Bear you see here is huge. Huge like a small child size, measuring a whopping 28 inches (71 centimeters) tall and it is possibly the last piece to come out of the Louis Vuitton x Supreme collection. Looks kind of rad, right? Well, at least, I think it is. This highly covetable Pudsey bear is an one-off creation as part of the 2017 Designer Pudsey Collection for BBC Children in Need curated by Katie Grand and inspired by, you guessed it, the charity’s very own mascot Pudsey Bear. Meet Morris, A Fish Plush Toy That You Can Turn Inside Out To See Its Innards

Plush toys of animals are often cute and cuddly. Beyond that, they are just, well, plush toys. There’s really nothing much to explore beyond what it has on the outside, but that’s not case with Morris. Morris, named after the deceased gold fishes of creator and multidisciplinary artist Rachel Ciavarella, is a fish plush toy with a twist, like almost literally. Morris can be turned inside out, exposing its innards in all its glory (if you can even described that as ‘glory’). Cute, Cuddly Plush Toys Turn Feisty With Sharp Teeth When Squeezed

You are not wrong to think plush toys in the likeness of animals are cute, but we can’t say the same for the William Mark Feisty Pets Plush Toys you see here. If anything, the product name should give you a hint or two. Seriously, they don’t call it ‘feisty’ for nothing. Under normal situation, Feisty Pets Plush Toy looks pretty much like any plush toys, you know, all cute and cuddly that makes you go “awww…” but like some real animals, it does have its feisty side too and you can trigger it by squeezing the head. And when you do that, adorable plushy instantly turn from cute to monstrous, displaying its frowning, shifty eyes and menacing sharp teeth. Now, that, my friends, is the real Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the plush toys world and it could be the best thing to ever happen since Gremlins. The Force of Cuteness is Strong in These Miniature Star Wars Plush Toys

Apart from a handful of droids and maybe the Ewoks, there’s nothing cute about Star Wars characters. Is Jabba the Hutt, cute? We hardly think so. And would you consider Darth Vader and his cronies of Stormtroopers adorable? Nope. Never. They are cool, but never cute. Despite that, it didn’t stop Japanese toy maker, Takara Tomy from dishing plush toy version of them. The Star Wars Plush Toys series is the newest addition to the company’s Beans Collection and each of the plushies takes on the cute look and is no bigger than a regular palm. Well, what can we say? Cartoonized, plush and tiny – those are winning formula of cute. Continue reading The Force of Cuteness is Strong in These Miniature Star Wars Plush Toys

This Limited Edition Godzilla Plush Toy Will Cost You 500 Bucks

this year marks the 60th year since the birth of one of the world’s most recognizable big screen monster Godzilla or more favorably known by the Japanese as Gojira (ゴジラ) (not be confused with the French heavy metal band), which means fans can expect quite a few monster commemorative merchandizes to surface. we have seen one cast in gold which is straight up prohibitive for many Gojira fans with its million and half price tag. but if you have, say a mortal-sensible 500 bucks to spare, there is a softer version which you can buy to add to your Gojira shrine. Vicious Plush Toys by Nats Toys

forget what you know about those cushy, plush toys. you are all grown up now and so should your plush toys, that’s if you still insists on having some around. instead of cute little minions, you should be looking at these Vicious Plush Toys by Nats Toys. trust me, these plush toys will make foul-mouthed, talking Ted looks tame. an unlikely duo, Natasha and Natalie (collectively known as Nats Toys), are the brains behind these lovable yet untamed plush creatures. the duo are pretty gals who begs to differ, or should we say, they are gals who are out to break the stereotype any dudes have for gals. measuring 12 inches tall, the Vicious Plush Toys all comes with somewhat disturbing glow-in-the-dark eyes. if the fangs-showing, jaw-wide-open appearance is still too mild by your standard, then you can opt for scars and “blood” to be part of the plush for an even more, well, disturbing effect. definitely not for kids or the faint of heart. nah. just kidding. they are not that scary but not cuddly cute either, which is what makes them all the more awesome. MessagePetz WiFi-enabled Teddy Bear

we wouldn’t the say the MessagePetz WiFi-enabled Teddy Bear is the best way to communicate with your kids, but it is suffice to say that it will at least keep your “minimally” child and you connected while you are away, minus the annoyance and ‘danger’ of social networks. what this teddy will do is to allow you to send messages to your kid, and the messages will be displayed on an LCD display integrated into the cushy little plush toy. you will be able to send messages to your kid, who is probably too young to handle a mobile phone, via a free MessagePetz app. upon receipt of the message, a LED heart on the bear will light up, notifying your child a message has been received. your young one can then reciprocate by hugging the teddy which will automatically send a pre-programmed reply such as “Peter loves you!”, for example, to your smartphone.
