Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE Is Basically An Option-loaded Slingshot

From the front, it looks like Polaris has put a roadster on the road, but it is in fact, a three-wheeler, or more specifically, a new, more luxe variant of the brand’s Slingshot. The 2018 Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE, as it is known as, is essentially a slightly more equipped Slingshot featuring the previously optional Slingshade roof, and quilted Comfort Seats. In addition, a color-matched rear fender is thrown in to go with the Indy Red accented Matte Cloud Gray paint job, while on the inside, it is outfitted with Slingshot’s Ride Command with navigation infotainment system. And oh, it also gets a limited edition graphics package too, as seen in the official press images. Continue reading Polaris Slingshot Grand Touring LE Is Basically An Option-loaded Slingshot

Polaris Unveils V22 Osprey-friendly Turbo Diesel MRZR Military Vehicle

Marshall Motoart’s RZR 1000 is the “Superleggera” of the Off-road World

We are accustom to custom cars, trucks and the usuals, but a custom off-road sport vehicle? Well, that’s kind of unheard of. Though, I am sure there are custom ATVs and sport vehicles out there. We have no illusion about that, but the Marshall Motoart “Superleggera” RZR 1000 is hands down the best looking, if not the best looking custom sport vehicle. This “Superleggera” of the off-road world is almost a ground-up built with only the motor, differential, knuckles and some power steering parts were carried over from the once stock RZR 1000. Polaris Announces 2016 Snowmobile Lineup Featuring AXYS Chassis

It seem like just yesterday when Polaris debuted the 2015 Snowmobile lineup featuring the AXYS chassis. Yep. It is the time of the year again, this time, we are looking at the 2016 Snowmobile lineup. As before, the new lineup features Polaris’ AXYS chassis for improved rider-balanced control and response. In all, there are twenty sleds built on the AXYS platform, including RMK, Rush and Switchback models. In addition to those, there are four new sleds, namely 800SKS 155, 800 Rush Pro-S “Night Lightning” LE, 800 Switchback Adventure and 800 Switchback Assault Terrain Dominator LE, being introduced. All told, this year’s introduction sees a cool 30 models. This is also the first time AXYS platform expanded to RMK and mind you, it is not just specific models we are talking about; AXYS will be across all new RMK models. Polaris New Three-wheel Slingshot Is Actually A Belt-driven Motorcycle

this year Polaris marks its 60th year in the business and the Minnesota-based company is celebrating with a super cool three-wheel roadster, the Polaris Slingshot. on the surface, the Slingshot may look like TORQ’s roadster and Campagna T-Rex, but at its heart it is really a motorcycle and it is designed like so as with Polaris’ fleet of three-wheelers. powering this topless beauty is a 2.4L DOHC ECOTEC unit, mated to a 5-speed stick shifter. it has 173 horsepower which is put to good use by a fat, rear wheel via a carbon fiber reinforced belt drive system. granted 170+ ponies is not an astounding figure in the automotive (motorcycle, included) world, but then again, it has all but 1,700 lbs (771 kilograms) to haul, which should be more than ample to get most speed junkies’ adrenalin pumping. though it worthy to note that Polaris have yet to make any official claims on the performance and therefore, there is no telling if it will live up to its namesake and launch like a slingshot. 2015 AXYS-based Polaris Snowmobiles

when it comes to deep powder terrain, there is nothing that cuts like a snowmobile, but not just any snowmobile. we are talking about the new 2015 AXYS-based Polaris Snowmobiles built around the all-new, next-generation AXYS platform. the AXYS chassis features 93% (yes. Polaris is pretty adamant about precision) new parts, including a carbon fiber overstructure, a centralized vehicle mass, redesigned rear suspension, relocated rider position and more. with the AXYS, Polaris managed to shave 38 lbs of weight and together with a more power engine, enables the new AXYS-based snowmobiles to zip across flatland at a greater speed. 2014 Polaris Sportsman WV850 H.O. ATV

expecting yourself to be rained by .50 caliber rounds? then the 2014 Polaris Sportsman WV850 H.O. ATV is the vehicle of choice to escape from such dire situation. it is not bulletproof though, nor is the person, i.e. you, riding on it, but at least you know that if the tires on the WV850 H.O. ever got rip by one such big fat, metal slug, you can be sure that it can continue to travel up to 350 miles before it finally gives up and hopefully, by then, you are already out of danger. of course, the odds of that happening is rare, but if it did roll over some railway spike (which is more likely than having .50 cal firing upon you), you can also be sure that it will go on another 1,000 miles. though, again, unlikely, but it is nevertheless good to know you are on safe hands. 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 UTV

just spent a good 10 minutes and 23 seconds watching Pro-Lite racer RJ Anderson tearing up the dirt and making jumps that Evel Knievel would approve of with a modified 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 UTV, dubbed the XP1K. while we don’t expect ourselves to do what Anderson did, but it sure looks like the 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 UTV would be a hell of an off-road ride. in any case, it sure beats you mundane daily commute between your suburban home and jam-pack city office in your Prius and could be a worthwhile stress-reliever if you are up to some serious off-road driving. updated with a 999cc (1-liter) 4-stroke twin-cylinder engine with double overhead cam, the XP 1000 has 107 horses on the tap and an automatic gearbox to put those ponies to all four wheels (or two, if the situation calls for it), and can zip from zero to 50 mph (80 km/h) in 5.33 seconds.
