But if you don’t and want one, Talos Vehicles has a better option: the Ferrari 599XX race car, but absolutely crafted for the road, and at the same time remaining ultra-exclusive like its donor car.
That’s right, my friends, some Ferrari 599XXs have been butchered to create this ultra-limited, race-inspired Grand Tourer road car featuring a refined and comfortable driving experience. Hmmm, I wonder what Ferrari’s thoughts are on this?
Meet the TALOS XXT Grand Tourer, a car that takes the chaos of Ferrari’s track monster and teaches it the Queen’s English. Limited to just five units worldwide, each completely bespoke, this British-built beauty merges brute force with craftsmanship so obsessive it borders on religious.
Starting life as a Ferrari 599 GTB, the XXT swaps Maranello’s pure-bred restraint for Yorkshire-engineered madness. Its 6.0-liter V12 engine punches out 674 horsepower (503 kW) and launches from 0–62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, before topping out at 205 mph (330 km/h). That’s grand touring with a side of cardiac arrest.
Every panel on the XXT is sculpted from carbon fiber, polished, painted, and probably whispered nice things to. The car’s proportions are lower, meaner, and undeniably race-bred, while the interior swaps stripped-out racer for black-tie luxury — think Alcantara, carbon, and just enough leather to make PETA nervous.
And because Talos believes in choices, owners can tweak nearly everything—engine tune, exhaust setup, gearbox (manual, if you like pain), even gloss or matte carbon finishes. No two XXTs are alike, which makes sense because there are only five and everyone’s rich enough to demand “different.”
Talos calls it a road-legal GT with racing soul. I call it a Ferrari 599XX that somehow passed its driving test.
Now for the price. Well, it is obviously very expensive. That said, you’d better be seated for this. The asking price is a grand 850,000 quid, which is around US$1.11 million, and that’s not even including the donor car. But as a perk, you’d be one of the 5 to be driving around one that isn’t on the track.
