TECNO has a new phone that looks so sleek on screen that we have let you in on it. The smartphone in question is called the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G. It is touted as a lightweight and slim device with an “exceptional leather-like” texture and comes in the color that had me at hello, Alps Snowy Silver. That’s the color you see here.
The texture is said to draw inspiration from nature’s complex texture, from the Uyuni salt flats to Iceland’s volcanic lava. The weight was not listed but this device is 7.68-7.8 mm thin which is pretty cool, IMHO.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G chip, boasts a fairly imposing circular camera bump where three cameras call home. The cameras include a Sony IMX890 50 MP OIS main camera along with a 50 MP ultra-wide angle and 2 MP depth camera. It has a dual flash setup.
The main sensor is TECNO’s pride and joy for this device. It has a 2 um large fusion pixel, a 1/1.56” night shooting large sensor, and an f/1.88 ultra-high light-intake aperture. So shooting in both day and night should be quite superior.
Other highlights include a 144 Hz 6.78” FHD+ AMOLED display, the usual suspect of connectivity and sensors, dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 70 W ultra charge via a Type-C port. The Type-C port is a v2.0, btw.
It is not clear how much the TECNO CAMON 30 Pro 5G will cost. However, we heard it will be released this month.
