The field rail system on the Teenage Engineering Field Desk finally has its first accessories. For the uninitiated, the Field Desk is part of the field rail system, which is Teenage Engineering’s open-ended modular furniture range made to adapt to your needs as your work environment changes. It is like the MOLLE system of a backpack, allowing you to add stuff to it as you see fit.
The Field Desk Tape Holder and Field Desk Tray you see here are the first accessories available for the Field Desk. The former keeps the tape at hand ready to use. It attaches to the field rail system on either side of the desk. The Field Desk Tray also secures to either side of the desk on the field rail system. It takes up the entire depth of the table and so, the tape holder and the tray can never be on the same side.
The tray basically adds an organizing extension to the table. Both accessories include M6 screws for attaching to the field rail system and both are made of 75% recycled CIRCAL anodized aluminum alloy from Scandinavian manufacturer Hydro.
