Regular people paint their homes or go with wallpapers. Artists may choose to paint the wall with their art or put up paintings and whatnot. Meanwhile, a doodle artist, Sam Cox aka Mr Doodle decided to cover his entire house in his signature doodles.

We have seen doodles on a car and on walls but never on such a grand scale. When I said “grand scale”, it really is on a grand scale because Cox’s home is a huge 12-room mansion and yes, he covered every square inch of it in doodles, including the ceiling, the bathrooms, the toilets, the appliances, and even the bed. The doodle extends to the outside, covering the entire exterior – including the centerpiece planter in the driveway.

It is almost as surreal (and sometimes rather dizzying experience, if I can be honest) as you imagine it to be, and even more so if you watch the video Sam posted on his YouTube channel last week.

With the help of his family and close friends, it took Sam two years to transform the house into the Doodle House of his dream. In the process, the British artist used 900 liters of white paint, 401 cans of black spray paint, 286 bottles of black drawing paint, and no less than 2,296 pen nibs.
