There are LEGO purists out there who refuse to acknowledge any brick-based system that isn’t LEGO. If you’re one of them and have been resisting MEGA’s Pokémon sets for years, your patience has finally paid off. LEGO has just rocked the Pokémon community with a game-changing announcement: it’s teaming up with The Pokémon Company International to bring the world of Pokémon to life, brick by brick.

Revealed on March 18, this multi-year partnership will finally let fans catch ’em all—one LEGO piece at a time (or should it be one LEGO set at a time? Hmmm). The collaboration is set to roll out in 2026, marking the first time Pokémon has officially entered the LEGO universe.
While details on the sets remain a mystery, one thing is certain: the buildable Pokémon world is about to get very interesting. Will we see intricate Poké Ball builds? Maybe a massive LEGO Pikachu? A brick-built Pallet Town? No one knows, but the excitement is real.
Julia Goldin, LEGO’s Chief Product & Marketing Officer, said the partnership “will create a range of new possibilities for Trainers and builders alike.” Meanwhile, Gaku Susai, Chief Product and Experience Officer at The Pokémon Company International, praised LEGO’s “dedication and passion for the project,” hinting at big things to come.
With both brands known for their deep fan engagement, this collaboration has the potential to be one of the most exciting crossovers in toy history. So, get your Pokédex ready—LEGO Pokémon is coming in 2026. Stay tuned at www.lego.com/pokemon for updates!
