Medicom has unleashed two most important collectibles for fans of Kamen Riders. The first is the new Real Action Heroes No.789 RAH Kamen Rider (Shin Kamen Rider) collectible figure. Standing 30 cm (12″) tall, the figure is based on the suit worn by protagonist Takeshi Hongo (played by Sosuke Ikematsu).
The details are so impeccable that you may mistake the product photos to be the real-life suit. I mean, seriously, just take look at the product images. Making this realism possible is the rider suit crafted from synthetic leather and a removable trench coat that is made of real fabric.
The figure offers multiple points of articulation and comes with interchangeable hands to let you recreate various poses. The figure will come with a Shin Kamen Rider branded metal-arm figure stand to help with various poses along with some accessories which Medicom is unable to show for fear of spoilers. Now, my interest is piqued!
The Real Action Heroes No.789 RAH Kamen Rider (Shin Kamen Rider) Figure is scheduled to be released in December 2023 with an RRP of 42,900 yen (US$319). It’s expensive but it’s going to get worst because you probably will not want to stop there and will want his Cyclone bike too which Medicom has also revealed.
The Real Action Heroes No.790 RAH Cyclone (Shin Kamen Rider), as it is called, is 33 cm (about 13″) long and modeled after its onscreen appearance, and it is designed to pair up with the collectible figure.
The Real Action Heroes No.789 RAH Kamen Rider (Shin Kamen Rider) will be able to pose on the bike and hold on to the handle with the supplied hands. The collectible model motorcycle further features rotating wheels, turning steering, a deployable kickstand, and quad headlights with a light-up function.
The Real Action Heroes No.790 RAH Cyclone (Shin Kamen Rider) will be released in January 2024. It has an RRP of 52,800 yen (US$392). Shin Kamen Rider will open in Japan on March 18, 2023.
