No. That’s not a monster size dog threatening to crush a beautiful architecture. That ‘building’ there, called MDK9 Dog Haus, is actually a dog house. Yep. You heard that right. A dog house. Apparently frustrated with how ugly today’s dog houses are, L.A. custom furniture design company Rah: Design decided to take matters into their own hands and the result pretty much speaks for itself. Fashioned and built just like human’s dwelling, MDK9 Dog Haus boasts an appropriately slope roof and proper foundation that extends beyond the dog’s living quarter, creating a porch-like setup for your canine friend to chill out during unkind weather, while an integrated dual bowl out on the facade provides a semi-sheltered place for him/her to dine in.
The entire structure measures an expansive 76 by 40 by 36 inches and features Brazilian teak, power coated steel, and even concrete. That’s real concrete for you, much like the one your current pad’s sits on. However, unlike your majestic property, this one is a one-bedder and it certainly does not have a garage cos’ dear fido doesn’t drive. It does, however, has the unmistakable look and feel of a contemporary architecture, complete with suitable lighting and furnished with ultra luxe memory foam pillow from Jax & Bones. Rounding up the real house feel for your furry, four-legged family member is a brushed aluminum name plague produced by Modern House Numbers – customized with your dog’s name, of course.
If you are looking for the ultimate in luxury for your pet dog, well, then this is it, but be warned, it (obviously) doesn’t come cheap. This home for dog costs a whopping $3,650 a pop.
P.S.: No words on how heavy this thing is. We would imagine it will be quite hefty, but not to worry, cos’ it appears to have tiny wheels built into it for ease of mobility.
