Timex and MM6 Maison Margiela are rewriting the rules of wrist—and now finger—fashion with a sleek take on the T80. MM6, Maison Margiela’s streetwise sibling, has spun out two versions of the T80 in this collab, adding signature irreverence to an old-school icon: the T80 Ring Watch and the T80 Steel Watch. Think of it as retro Timex DNA on a couture bender.

First, the T80 Ring Watch. With a mere 16.5 mm case and stainless steel expansion band, this mini-marvel slips right onto your finger like the most punctual piece of jewelry you’ve ever owned. It’s got all the iconic T80 vibes—mirrored mask, stainless steel case, and acrylic crystal—wrapped up in a piece so small it’s almost covert. At 30 meters water-resistant, it’s good to go for accidental dips but maybe avoid the deep end. And no, the price tells me this is no toy like the Casio Ring.
And then there’s the T80 Steel Watch, an elevated re-engineering with a stainless steel case and bracelet, plus an extra bracelet just for good measure. With that signature Timex INDIGLO® backlight, you can check the time in even the most dimly lit soiree. It also sports a daily alarm, a stopwatch, and a date display, making it perfect for the practical wearer who refuses to choose between form and function. The case measures a 34mm punch of ‘90s nostalgia, capped with a tough acrylic crystal and, like its ring sibling, a mirrored mask to top it all off.
Released at US$180 for the Ring Watch and US$200 for the Steel Watch, these pieces have since vanished into the hands of fast-clicking fashion devotees. Or have not not been listed yet? I cannot tell. If you want one, you best bet is to signed to be notified when they becomes available. Call it retro-futuristic minimalism with a twist—once again proving that Timex is just as much at home in the world of high fashion as it is in telling the time.
