Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Video Game
Crystal Dynamics returns to Lara Croft’s roots with a full Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of the original Tomb Raider, featuring expanded locations, rebuilt puzzles, and modernized gameplay.

Remember Tomb Raider from 1996? Crystal Dynamics certainly does. The studio is heading back to Lara Croft’s roots with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a full reimagining of the original adventure built in Unreal Engine 5 and co-developed with Flying Wild Hog.

From Peru’s Lost Valley to the ruins of Greece, the classic locations return with expanded environments, revamped puzzles, modernized combat, and plenty of secrets to uncover. Even familiar challenges like the iconic cog puzzle have been rebuilt to feel more natural and connected to the world around them.

The adventure still follows Lara’s hunt for the powerful Scion artifact, taking players across Peru, Greece, Egypt, and a mysterious Mediterranean island. In short, it is the Tomb Raider many fans grew up with, only with 30 years of technological upgrades.

Available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, starting on February 12, 2027.

Price: US$59.99 (Standard Edition), US$69.99 (Deluxe Edition).

Pre-orders are open now for the various platforms. PC gamers can also secure a copy from Amazon Game Studios, via Amazon.com, for US$59.99 for the standard edition and US$69.99 for the Deluxe edition.

There is also a Collector’s Edition with a bunch of extras—including a beautiful diorama—planned. So, super fans, may want to hold on to their wallets for now.
