i am not sure if designer Gordon Cormack Kedslie did named his novel door bell ‘Touch Wood‘ with a sense of humor or what. whatever it is, Gordon definitely gives a whole new sound to knocking on one’s door. instead of pressing a button or banging on the door, visitors can lightly knock on any of the three wooden pads to trigger the door bell and if you feel like, you could knock on all three pads in combination to create an either horrendously annoying or smoothing announcement that you are at the door.
