If a mechanical keyboard in Optimus Prime or Megatron colors, with Transformers branding, and laid out with Cybertonian characters does not scream Transformers enough for you, then may want to spruce up the keyboard with the Transformers Artisan Keycap Pack by Clackeys.
Unlike the keycaps on the Cannon Keys x Clackeys NicePBT Transformers Keyboard which are just regular keycaps, the Transformers Artisan Keycap Pack by Clackeys features the retro style head sculpt of iconic characters, like Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, and Soundwave.
Each keycap is hand-cast in premium materials and hand-painted in Davis, California by skilled artists. At a glance, these Transformers character keycaps looked like they could be plugged out from action figures. And no, they do not have a resin over them and yes, it may be a pain to tap but goddamn it, they look absolutely dope!
The Transformers Artisan Keycap Pack by Clackeys is available in 3-pack and 5-pack. For the former, you will need to choose 3 characters from the 5 characters offered.
The keycap packs are available to order now for US$99 and US$149.99 for the 3-pack and 5-pack, respectively. It is not clear when shipping will commence, though.
In related news, Clackeys is offering up some super cool desk mats featuring retro-licious Transformers graphics. All told, there are 7 designs to choose from.
Each mat is 4 mm thick 900 mm wide and 400 mm deep, and features stitched edges, hemmed tag, and comes in premium packaging. However, it looks like the desk mats are available only in the U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico. They are also available for pre-order for US$25 each, with delivery starting in April 2023.
