There are TWS earbuds with active noise cancellation and then there is this: the Tronsmart Apollo Bold TWS ANC Earbuds. What makes this Tronsmart’s new entrant special is, it uses the new Qualcomm QCC5124 which is chip that combines both active noise canceling and Bluetooth connectivity.
Traditionally, ANC headphones would have two separate chips. And how is a 2-in-1 chip better than 2 chips? I am no guru, but I supposed it affords more room for audio-focused components? Maybe?
Anywho, Tronsmart said that the ANC is a hybrid noise cancelling technology that cancels both wide and narrow range to “achieve the best effect.” In technical terms, Apollo Bold does up to 35 dB noise cancellation while regular ANC earbuds does so between 25 and 28 dB.
Obviously, Apollo Bold isn’t the first that can bust noise at 35 dB, but hey, it is another option for those looking for a pair of ANC TWS and option is always welcome.
Asides from the new chip and the capable ANC, Tronsmart Apollo Bold TWS ANC Earbuds further features Stereo Plus synchronous signal transmission technology to ensure left and right earbuds receive Bluetooth signal at the same time.
In addition, it boasts a string of premium features including customized graphene driver, support aptX decoding, 6 microphones with cVc for assured sound and call quality, LDS laser antenna, in-ear detection, IPX45 rated construction, 3 modes of operation, and over 30 hours of playtime when use with the supplied charging case.
If anyone’s interested, the new Tronsmart Apollo Bold TWS ANC Earbuds can be had for just US$99.99 on Amazon. You can also find it on AliExpress, but it is more expensive (at US$106) and so, getting it from Amazon is a no brainer.
