Meet the Turtle Beach Recon 70 Gaming Headset, the latest gaming headset and the successor to the number selling wired gaming headset, Recon 50. Turtle Beach Recon 70 Gaming Headset promised to deliver high-quality game audio with “crisp high and thundering low” for Nintendo Switch through the cans’ 40 mm driver.
Other features include the quintessential to multiplayer online gaming high-sensitive flip-to-mute boom microphone, padded and adjustable headband, synthetic leather-wrapped ear cushions, and a rad design boasting red on black colorway. With an asking price of just $39.95, it is not hard to imagine how this pair of gaming audio cans will not be a hit. The Turtle Beach Recon 70 Gaming Headset for Nintendo Switch is now available on Turtle Beach website and at retailers in North America.
Starting May 1, 2019, a black and white model will hit the shelves in North America for Xbox One and Playstation 4. Plus there will be a midnight red version also geared towards PS4. In fact, a few colors are also on pre-order. If you are in Europe, you can pick up the Turtle Beach Recon 70 Gaming Headset for Xbox One and PS4 as we speak from Argos in the UK and other retailers in Europe starting April 1, 2019. The midnight red version for Nintendo Switch will be available starting end of May 2019 to the European markets.
While Turtle Beach Recon 70 Gaming Headset is designed for Xbox One, PS4 Pro, PS4, and PC, it is also totally suitable for mobile devices too – thanks to 3.5 mm audio plug. OK. Maybe not as mobile-friendly, considering how so many mobile devices have done away with the all-important 3.5 mm audio jack. Well, that’s not a biggie cos’ there’s always the dongle, right?
