TWR Supercat V12 Super-GT

Ever looked at a classic car you love and wished it could be relevant today? I know. Some petrolheads prefer pure restoration but if you are more inclined towards restomod and love a classic like the legendary Jaguar XJS, well, here’s the big news from UK’s TWR. It has taken the iconic Jaguar and turned it into an absolute beast dubbed Supercat.

The Supercat is a worthy name for it is now powered by a supercharged V12 engine that puts out over 600 freaking horses – that’s over 5 times more power over the original XJS.

The TWR Supercat V12 Super-GT, which is what the car is, is a limited-edition ride engineered for both track and road. It is the perfect matrimony between a classic design and modern technology.

But not going to lie. The aesthetic had me at hello. And when I try to dig more into it, alas, information regarding this ride eludes me. Not even the website has anything to offer. Anyhoo, if you need more information and/or are interested in owning this super cool Jag, you will need to hit up TWR.

But be warned. It is a limited-production ride. As a nod to TWR’s 1988 Le Mans win, it is limited to just 88 units and so if they are gone, they are gone.

Each unit offers a personalized experience, with extensive customization options available – though again, no details were provided. I guess it is for you to find out. The TWR Supercat V12 Super-GT is created to celebrate TWR’s motorsport heritage and the Jaguar XJS’s 50th anniversary (but that should be next year, no? Hmmm).
