MusicCam is a pair of open-ear headphones with an integrated camera that lets you enjoy your favorite tunes while recording HD videos. Don’t worry about the shake life throws at you—this little guy is built for motion, be it mountain trails, ocean waves, or the chaos of the concrete jungle.
A single slide control starts recording, minimizing distractions while you’re on the move. Under the hood, you’ll find 2K HD video, a ±30° adjustable lens, dual ENC microphones, 6-axis stabilization, and waterproofing up to 20 meters (66 feet). That’s right, you can film crystal-clear footage while dodging traffic, hiking cliffs, or free-diving reefs.
Pair that with bone-conduction audio for music and calls, and suddenly you’re rocking a gadget that’s part GoPro, part AirPods, and part “my friends are definitely going to ask what the heck I’m wearing.”
Battery-wise, it delivers up to 2.6 hours of video capture or 12 hours of audio playback—enough to cover an entire hike or a full day of dodging awkward small talk.
The VibeLens MusicCam will launch on Kickstarter sometime soon, but pricing hasn’t been revealed. Also, since this is a crowdfunded project from a fresh outfit, there are risks.
