back in those days when electronics have yet to take the world over, fun comes in a more healthy way, such as using your arms to actually roll some balls for points. depending how strong is your desire for such good old fun (and how deep your pockets are), you may want one of these Vintage Arcade Skeeball machines

back in those days when electronics have yet to take the world over, fun comes in a more healthy way, such as using your arms to actually roll some balls for points. depending how strong is your desire for such good old fun (and how deep your pockets are), you may want one of these Vintage Arcade Skeeball machines, peddled by Restoration Hardware, in your pad, or more specifically, in your man cave. i know i would – if i have the means to drop a grand $6,995, which is how much this baby cost. granted that today you still can get one of these skeeball machines, they won’t be as alluring as this Centennial Edition, which bears the classy 1930s look. features include a hand-finished oak exterior for that authentic retro skeeball alley look, a single ball system with front net, pull-handle activation lever and even the score board is of flip-style item, just like the good’ol days.

though retro in every way, there is still some touch of modern to it, like the subtle lighting and of course, the flip-style score board will keep track of your score automatically. each machine measures 156 inches long, 31 inches wide and 75 inches tall, and comes complete with two caster wheels at the back for easy positioning (you will need them cos’ this thing weighs a hefty 750 lbs!) and five skeeballs. our only gripes are, it should come with more balls and there is no prize ticket dispenser. well, not that we will be needing it, but you know, for an added authenticity sake. then again, i don’t think they have prize ticket dispenser back in the 30s, do they? oh well. more look after the break.
