No one says the Mac mini is a tribute to the OG Macintosh—but who’s to say you can’t turn it into one? I mean, someone already turned an iPad into an OG Macintosh lookalike, so why not a Mac mini too? Well, if you’re down with that idea, you’re going to dig the Wokyis Retro Docking Station for Mac mini.

Designed for the Mac mini M4/M4 Pro, Wokyis is a retro-inspired docking station that adds 13 ports, a 5-inch HD display (yes, an actual working display!), and up to 8 TB of storage via M.2 NVMe SSD—all while looking like a pint-sized original Macintosh.
Up front, it offers a pair of 10 Gbps USB-A ports, a 10 Gbps USB-C port, plus SD4.0 and microSD4.0 card readers. Around the back, you’ll find another two 10 Gbps USB-A ports, an HDMI input, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and two USB-C ports—one as the Host Port, and the other for 5V/3A power input.
As for the adorable 5-inch HD display—no, you’re not expected to work entirely off that tiny screen. It’s more of a glorified sidekick: use it as a second screen for live system info, album art, family photos, or your favorite retro clock—anything you want to keep off the main display while remaining at-a-glance view.
There’s no word on pricing yet, but Wokyis is currently running a prelaunch campaign over at Prelaunch.com, where you can sign up to be notified when it goes live.
