Now, it has revolutionized home tech again with a range hood that has no filter.
Folks, meet the new Xiaomi Smart Range Hood Pro. This sleek, high-tech hood addresses three major issues with today’s range hoods: smoke seepage, deteriorating performance, and waste oil accumulation. Using smart algorithms, it promises the next level of smoke and odor removal.
The new Smart Range Hood Pro boasts advanced features like PM2.5 tracking, dual-zone suction, and smart home integration. It further touts patented technology that prevents smoke seepage, and it has the power to suck up even oily smoke particles invisible to the naked eye. The self-developed filtration system captures oily smoke, odors, and even PM2.5 particles. A PM2.5 sensor monitors kitchen air quality and displays it on the hood’s digital panel.
The system rocks a patented “quad-spiral cyclone” that locks in oily smoke and odors at the source, thanks to its powerful dual-zone suction. Speaking of suction, it has level 7 super-strong suction that keeps smog from clinging to your clothes, with an air intake speed of up to 14 m/s. Its three-sided shield design—side panels plus a vertical air curtain—works with the dual-zone suction to create near “air-tight” smog extraction.
Under the hood, the motor runs at up to 1,800 RPM, generating up to 1,200 Pa of pressure. Features include infrared gesture controls for touchless operation, Xiaoai voice command support, natural gas leak detection, and custom smart scene automation. Pair it with a compatible Mijia (Mi Home) stove (2021 or newer), and it even kicks on automatically.
In China, the Xiaomi Smart Range Hood Pro retails for 3,199 yuan [CH] (~US$449) on its own, or bundled with one of two stove models for 4,598 yuan (~US$644).
