Calling out to JDM devotees in Europe. Your chance to get a super rare Honda NSX-R has arrived. Broad Arrow Auctions is set to present an extremely rare 2003 Honda NSX-R at its first European Auction at Broad Arrow Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este Auction on May 24–25, 2025. This example is one of fewer than 140 second-gen NSX-Rs ever made, and the first to hit the public auction block outside of Japan in recent memory.

The NA2 NSX-R (Lot 206) is no ordinary collector’s item—it’s the peak of Honda’s Type R philosophy. Powered by a 3.2L VTEC V6 with 290 horsepower, this lightweight, carbon-clad icon could go toe-to-toe with the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale around the Nürburgring. It features everything from a one-piece hollow carbon rear wing to red Alcantara seats and Championship White paint.
This particular car, meticulously maintained in Sweden and showing just 15,806 km (9,823 miles), recently had a proper workout at Sweden’s historic Gelleråsen Arena—yes, the same track where Stirling Moss and Jim Clark once raced—driven by motoring journalist Henry Catchpole.
Broad Arrow’s NSX-R is not just rare, it’s auction unicorn-level rare. So if you’ve got the cash and an empty garage, you might want to mark your calendar. Or at least enjoy the video and quietly sob. We don’t judge. But if you need some kind of hint whether or not you can afford one, the 2003 Honda NSX-R is expected to fetch between €750,000 and €950,000 (roughly US$841,000-US$1,066,00 based on today’s going rate).
