by nature, most dudes get attracted to all things military and that usually translates to splashing every items in their lives with military green color or wearing camo fatigue to the malls. but not everything has to be given the olive green treatment to make its military lineage known and the Jeep Wrangler is one such example. celebrating its brand’s military roots, Jeep introduced the new Wrangler Freedom edition. based on the Wrangler Sport, this special edition vehicle is available in two- and four-door versions, and wearing a choice of deep red cherry, bright white or true blue exclusive paint job. powered by a 3.6-liter V6 petrol unit that delivers 285 horsepower (212 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque while achieving a fuel economy up to 21 mpg. features include mineral gray-painted 17-inch alloy wheels inherited from the Rubicon, mineral gray-painted grilled, front and rear bumper inserts, body-colored wheel arches and side steps, the iconic “Oscar Mike” star-in-circle fender badges, plus decals on the hood and rear quarter panels. wrapping the exterior makeover are black sidesteps, black taillamp guards, a Mopar fuel fill door, and a Sunrider soft top with deep tinted rear windows. the interior special treatment are limited to rugged tectonic fabric wrapped seats in black, “Oscar Mike” logo embroidered in silver stitching on the seat backs, “Quick Silver” accents on the front passenger grab handle, door pulls and dash vent rings.
