here’s another concept that surfaced at the Frankfurt Motor Show that looks pretty “real”. the 2013 Mercedes-Benz Concept S-Class Coupe is nothing out of this world in terms of both form – inside and out – and the drivetrain. powered by a 4.7-liter V8 Biturbo unit, it has 455 horsepower (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque on the tab. the only thing that it doesn’t have to offer that hints that this in fact is a concept is, performance figures, but we all know with such power and torque being put to the tarmac, it is not doubt going to be a pretty quick ride and coming from the pointed star marque, luxury appointments are just part of the package. the exterior immediately catches on with its grand sweeping form, spearheaded by a diamond radiator grille with dark chrome-plated elements and a side profile that we can’t help ourselves but to be reminded of the celebratory ride, the F125! Concept and the more recent CLA.

other highlights include full-LED headlamps with daytime driving lamps, LED taillights, frameless doors, flared wheel arches, 21-inch wheels shod in 265/35 R21 tires up front and 295/35 R21 tires at the rear, long 5050mm wheelbase with short overhangs (a characteristic of performance rides of today), an interior flowing with lines, leather upholstery with aluminum elements, a three-spoke steering wheel, a center console-mounted bank of world clock (via touchscreen, naturally), and more. there are just too many design features injected with general doses of marketing mambo-jambo that, in our humble opinion, best do the beautiful coupe justice with images, which you can find in the image gallery below.
