2018 Yamaha NIKEN Leaning Multi-wheeler Motorcycle

If you love the exhilaration brought about by motorcycle but somehow felt insecure because of it being a two-wheelers, then perhaps a three-wheeler bike will be right up your alley. If so, Yamaha may just have the ride for you. Called Yamaha NIKEN Leaning Multi-wheeler (LMW), it features a liquid-cooled 4-stroke, fuel injected inline 3-cylinder large displacement engine blessed with DOHC (that’s double overhead cam, if you don’t already know…) and 4-valve per pod, and it promised to make you feel ‘safe’ when executing corners – all thanks to its unique three-wheel configuration. And that’s no ordinary three-wheel configuration, by the way.

With “unprecedented” front-end suspension mechanisms and widely spaced, large 15-inch wheels, NIKEN is locked and ready to carve through any winding roads you throw at it. Not only does the dual-tube upside-down forks afford you the confidence when tackling continuous corners, it is also visually accentuate the machine’s sporty performance. In other words, NIKEN’s sporty performance is as sporty as its look which include a head-turning front-end, bestowed with dual headlights and an appropriately raked windshield that only further accentuate its go-fast attitude.

The 2018 Yamaha NIKEN Leaning Multi-wheeler Motorcycle will be revealed in its entirety on November 6 at 2100 hours CET at the Yamaha “Pioneers of Emotions” EICMA Press Premiere.
