Unlike most motorcycle maker, Husqvarna Motorcycles first ever electric motorcycle is not targeted at grown up. Neither is it targeted at toddler or children of ages 3-7. Instead, its 2020 Husqvarna EE 5 Electric Dirt Bike is a minicycle designed with youngsters in mind.
The company’s first ever electric model is powered by a 5 kW with a 907 Wh lithium-ion battery that provides up to 25 minutes of operation with just 70 minutes of charge.
Other notables include adjustable seat height to accommodate the growing rider, 35 mm WP XACT forks with 205 mm of travel, fully-adjustable WP rear shock, high-strength chromoly frame, hydraulically-operated brakes, lightweight wheels, tapered NEKEN handlebars, 6 easy-to-select ride modes, and an ergonomic bodywork decorated with striking graphics.
In addition the ride itself, Husqvarna Motorcycles has also introduced a line of accessories for the EE5 to enhance its performance and increase protection. Plus, there is the KIDS RAILED GEAR, a collection of off-road clothing and protective equipment to ensure the young rider’s safety and comfort.
Husqvarna Motorcycles has already begin selling the new 2020 Husqvarna EE 5 Electric Dirt Bike, but it looks like it is available online offline as we could not find any information on the pricing online.
The 2020 Husqvarna EE 5 Electric Dirt Bike will be landing on U.S. shores in Autumn 2019 with a yet-to-be-announced pricing.
