Having a family does not mean you should stop your heavy right foot habit, especially now that there’s a “stronger, faster, more agile” Porsche Macan Turbo SUV. Armed with a new 2.9L six-cylinder biturbo engine that puts out 434 horses and 550 Nm (405.7 lb-ft) of torque, this latest iteration of Porsche‘s family-orientated ride rockets from zero to 62 (100 m/h) in just 4.3 seconds before topping out at 270 km/h (167.8 mph).
Additional goodies include Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) fitted ex-works, an optimized chassis, seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, Turbo-specific front apron and fixed roof spoiler with double-wing design, Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive, new 20-inch Macan Turbo wheels, LED headlights (including Porsche Dynamic Light System), NEDC consumption of 9.8L/100 km (28.8 mpg) and enhanced interior featuring adaptive 18-way sports seats and a BOSE Surround Sound system.
The 2020 Porsche Macan Turbo SUV also benefits from rapid bolt. Up of power for a spontaneous response – thanks to the short exhaust paths between the combustion chambers and the turbochargers that have been arranged inside the V of the cylinders with the cooled exhausts directly integrated into the cylinder head.
