2020 Samsung Q Series Premium Sound Bars

The goal of a sound bar is very simple: to give your TV a boost in the audio department without being complicated. That is it. But things have changed and it seems, we are a taking a step back by giving sound bars two extra rear speakers.

One such sound bar is the new Samsung HW-Q950T is. Thankfully, those rear speakers are wireless which help to alleviate things a teeny weeny bit. If you don’t fancy rear speakers at all, there’s the other premium sound bar, the HW-Q900T.

Unlike the Q950T, which is a 9.1.4ch sound bar, the Q900T is a 7.1.2ch sound bar. Major difference between the two is one lacks of the rear speaker. Other than that, both are rocking Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, eARC support, and has Alexa built-in.

Whichever you choose, you’d get the most out each sound bar when used with Samsung’s 2020 QLED TVs. When set up with Samsung’s 2020 QLED TV, it activates Q-symphony, playing surround sound from both the TV and the soundbar to create an incredible audio synergy.

In addition, these sound bars are thinner too. They now measures 69.5 mm as opposed to its the 2019 models’ 83 mm. Rounding the design is the premium Danish textile, Kvadrat, that hugs in the sound bar.
