Looking for a green way of taking on the off beaten trails and carry a bunch of stuff at the same time? If so, you may want to take a look at the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Truck. Yes! Ford F-150 EV is real! Electric truck is a rarity. Even more rare is one that will actually be available as soon as Spring 2022.
Armed with dual in-board Motors that kicks out 563 horses and 775 lb-ft (1051 Nm!) of torque, and with 4×4 as standard, this is going to be truck to be excited about.
The new 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Truck gets a high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy body, a new independent rear suspension, large 18-inch wheels, and an all-new frame made from the strongest steel ever on an F-150 that affords it a payload of up to 2,000 lbs (907 kg) and tows you to 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg).
It has intelligent towing that automatically controls steering, throttle and brake inputs to make hitching trailers easier while Onboard Scales lets you know the estimate payload on the bed and providing the accurate estimates of how far it can go.
The electric motors afford this electric truck “mid-4 second range” 0-60 acceleration (when armed with an extended-range battery). On paper, it has up to 300 miles (483 km) of range.
F-150 Lightning also features a bunch of high-tech amenities and functions, including a 15.5-inch digital screen, a 12-inch instrument cluster with customizable interface, BlueCruise for hands-free driving on more than 100,000 miles of pre-qualified divided highways in the U.S. and Canada and Phone As A Key allowing it to be lock, unlock and start without taking the phone out or using a key fob.

What really got me excited is, it actually has a usable frunk.
