Finally, action figure(s) of supervillain Obadiah Stane aka Iron Monger from the first Iron Man movie that is affordable. Hot Toys makes awesome collectible figures, but their products, including the Iron Monger, was simply out of this world for most collectors.
Granted Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Obadiah Shane and Iron Monger Set you see here is not as detailed and not quite scale as Hot Toys’, but it is a compromise I can accept for the price point.
Not that US$73.99 is cheap; however, it is compared to the US$480 commanded when it was least ten years ago.
Standing at just 6 inches and boasting “multiple points of articulation,” the Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Obadiah Stane and Iron Monger Figure is inspired by the supervillain and his own version of Iron Man suit from the MCU movie that started it all.
The official description is limited. However, as observed from the official product images, the set comes with a few accessories, including Stane’s briefcase, an arc reactor (which Shane plucked out of Tony’s chest) and at least one fire effect part.
The Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Obadiah Stane and Iron Monger Figure will arrive on September 1st, 2021, for the aforementioned US$73.99. Folks who are keen may pre-order it now from Hasbropulse.com.
