When you think of electric SUVs, “canyon-carving” probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But Cadillac is here to flip that assumption on its head—because why not? Meet the 2026 LYRIQ-V, the EV that thinks it’s a sports car but rides like it just left a spa. Cadillac calls it their “quickest vehicle ever,” and with a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time of 3.3 seconds, they’re not kidding.

The LYRIQ-V isn’t just fast; it’s fancy fast. With 615 hp and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque, this dual-motor all-wheel-drive SUV doesn’t just move—it launches, thanks to its Velocity Max mode and handy Launch Control. Want to feel like a pro? Hit V-Mode, tweak your suspension and enjoy the “unique multi-layered sound experience” that synchronizes the car’s interior and exterior sounds. (Finally, your car will hum with purpose as you zip past confused drivers.)
Cadillac hasn’t forgotten about the luxury, either. Inside, there’s a 33-inch LED display, a panoramic fixed glass roof, and a 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio System with Dolby Atmos. And if you need an excuse to touch your steering wheel, the V-Series logo and aluminum paddle for Regen on Demand make it hard to resist.
The LYRIQ-V’s exterior is equally showy. It sports 22-inch wheels, Brembo performance brakes (with red calipers, naturally), and Cadillac’s signature Black Crystal Shield grille, complete with choreographed lighting. Oh, and did we mention Magnus Metal Frost paint? Because nothing says “EV swagger” like a frosty matte finish.
With an estimated range of 285 miles (459 km) and a starting MSRP of US$79,990, this luxury SUV proves that you can, indeed, have your (fancy) cake and eat it too—at 3.3 seconds flat. Oh, did we mention that it is its first electric SUV to earn the V-series badge? So yeah, this is not just any Cadillac SUV nor is it just any electric SUV.
